Internet-based TV to have 60M users by 2011 - According to a report from Parks Associates, by the end of 2011 almost 60 million people will be using the Internet to watch television. Parks says that Tier 1 telephone companies "will reach solid numbers by the end of the forecast period," but does not provide specifics. A survey from Accenture provides some interesting metrics, however: Of 350 telecom executives, sixty percent said that significant revenues from IPTV are likely within three years. Here's the link to see the best shorts films created by the On The Lot contestants - these include the videos that aired during episode 2 as well as those that were created but not broadcast. Remember, these were all written, shot and edited within a 24 hour timespan - with a three person production crew who had never met before an din some case, who didn't like each other and did not get along at all. Despite that, most of these look pretty darn good. This one is great!
