What is your video about: I "sampled" Citizen Kane,
distilling its theme into a short, easy to understand
"sampler" and applied it to the newest sport of the
new millennium, Kite boarding. I feel this video will
not only turn people on to this great film (who may not
have seen it or might be turned off by it because it is in
black & white). There is a sled and a snowball
thrown in it but I live in Florida so that is the best I can
do to exemplify what most would consider winter sports. The
kite boarding you see in this video is our "winter"
sport as this is when the wind is best in Florida. In the
summer, the winds calm and we can rarely enjoy the sport that
typically requires winds of 15+ knots.
How did you make your video: I use a Canon GL2 and digital
film the sport of kite boarding in Florida. I use a special
waterproof video housing. I edit on a computer I built and use
the software Adobe Premiere 6.0. I have since upgraded
to Premiere Pro.

helped make this video: Did it on my own as I'm learning
shooting and editing.
What
is your video about: Shows how we enjoy our winter in San
Diego. A festival of color and determination as many fly their
toys off the cliffs of La Jolla, Calif. At one point there
were over 25 gliders in the sky.
How
did you make your video: Used a Sony DV one-chip camera and
did the editing on iMovie using a Bella keyboard.
