The application first made its debut as muvee autoProducer Media Center Edition last year at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas and has since been shipping with HP’s Media Center PCs. Computex 2005 marks the launch of the updated, standalone unPlugged application.

Designed for the Windows® XP Media Center platform, muvee autoProducer unPlugged is the first and only application to introduce push-button movie-making into the living room, letting users quickly and easily make muvees on a TV screen using just the familiar buttons of a remote control. unPlugged retains the core functions of muvee’s award-winning PC application but now presents them in an interactive, 10-foot Media Center-styled interface. Using the directional buttons of the remote control, users browse for and select their videos, pictures, music and an editing style, before hitting “make muvee”. In minutes, unPlugged intelligently analyzes the selected media, before automatically cutting video highlights to the music, with style effects and transitions synchronized to the beat to produce a compelling, finished production. muvees can be previewed in real time on the TV screen or instantly remade in a different style. autoProducer unPlugged currently supports WMV and MPEG-2 video output formats for quick playback and DVD burning respectively. unPlugged retails at US$69.95 and is now available for download from www.muvee.com.
