For a little over 2-1/2 years and 119 episodes to date, I've been producing my own weekly webshow and broadcasting it over the internet. Filming, editing, web design, I do it all myself. Now and then there are other people in the episodes also.
The webshow is called "Online Video", and it can be seen at www.loudmouthtim.com . It's a comedy / opinion type of show, wherein I give my thoughts and opinions on a variety of subjects, and put my unusual sense of humor into many episodes. As I said, I have other people on the show occasionally.
The most famous of my guest stars is Richard "Agee" Maxwell, who is a local folk artist and is well known as the local lunatic in a nearby town. He has appeared in episodes # 15,16,19,39,63,64,69,99,105, and 117, singing his own versions of songs as well as his own made up songs, with his paint brushes and tin drum for musical backup. I think #39 and #63 are his best episodes of the bunch.
Most "Online Video" episodes run between 5 and 10 minutes in length. Some shorter, and on rare occasion, one goes a little bit longer than 10 minutes.
One of my most popular episodes in recent history is #114 - "Getting Fired" wherein I tell the story of events leading up to my being fired from a job in real life. I think the ending sequence of that episode is one of the better moments in my digital video editing history.
To the best of my knowledge, the longest running in regular production webshow on the internet WAS "Snackboy" at www.thesync.com, until September 8, 2005. At that point, "Online Video" took over from it and became the longest running in regular production webshow on the internet!
Again, that's as far as I know, I've looked in a lot of places for other webshows and haven't found very many at all.
"Online Video" is made in the Pittsburgh, PA area. The only things you need to see the webshow are (preferably) a high speed connection and Windows Media Player 9 or higher. The show is entirely free, and there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS anywhere on the site.
