Filmmaker Mark Thimijan’s Once A Week Online Film Festival - Even the most gifted independent filmmakers face serious challenges in finding an audience for their work. Pursuing the festival circuit targets an appreciative but limited audience, and posting on popular online sites like YouTube runs the risk of being lost among countless amateurs. That’s why filmmaker Mark Thimijan launched the Once A Week Online Film Festival in September, 2010. His inventive format matches high quality independent films with a worldwide audience.

Jan 27, 2012 - New Online Internet Video Contests from Tongal

It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year since Robert Half launched the Interview Blunder Video Project … and, still, more and more nerve-racking and uncomfortable job interview horror stories continue to emerge. With that in mind, we are revisiting the campaign to highlight some of the excruciatingly awkward moments that can only happen during job interviews.

This time around, however, we’re switching things up a bit. First off, the project will be tournament style, with the end goal of producing six videos: five Pitch-based and one wild card. Also, the Stories (winners from the previous Interview Blunder Video Project) have already been hand-selected by Robert Half. That means we’re jumping right into the Pitch Phase -- so pick your Story, submit your Pitch for a production budget and get to work!

Also, there’s just over a week left to submit a concept to the
$10,000 Munchkin Sometimes Things Just Click Video Project. The five creators who best convey their idea for a memorable and engaging 30-second video that brings Click Lock™ cups to life in a creative way will earn $250 each and a 5% residual payment for every winning video their concept is used to generate.

Pretzel Crisps Give It A Twist Video Project on Tongal.

Pretzel Crisps® are thin, crunchy pretzel crackers, great to pair with cheese or meat, dip in hummus, salsa, even peanut butter and chocolate. And brilliant as they are in an ensemble role, they’re also outstanding as a solo act. The goal of this project is to create either one-off or episodic online video content that features subject matter relevant to the enjoyment of Pretzel Crisps. That relevancy can be broad: healthy eating, healthy living, entertaining, great food, recipes, active lifestyles -- the possibilities for good chemistry are as wide as the Pretzel Crisps brand and their great flavor.

Note that this video project is a test to find the best content producers and create a yearlong series of videos. These might be a series of one-offs, or a series of connected episodes.

The Concept Phase of this project is open until January 4th and the five winning Concept creators will each earn $250 and a 5% residual payment for every winning video they are used to generate.

$20,000 mamaRoo® It Moves Like You Do Video Project on Tongal.com.

Like all 4moms products, the mamaRoo® is truly remarkable. From planning to production, it was shaped by the expertise of designers, doctors, nurses, and most importantly, hundreds of parents. Their team used motion sensors to measure movements of real moms and dads as they soothed their babies, and found that parents don’t vibrate like bouncy seats or swing like swings. They bounce and sway. So they built the mamaRoo® to do just that - to move like you do™.

The goal of this project is to create a 60 second video that gets consumers excited about the mamaRoo® baby seat in a creative way. Videos can be witty/funny, sentimental/emotional or simply a testimonial based on true stories or personal experience. Concepts are due July 29th and all five winners will receive $400 and a mamaRoo® baby seat ($200 value).

We are excited to have launched the new $15,000 Benjamin Moore Find Your Perfect Color Video Tournament.
