Sometimes you want to capture a simple video and audio scene directly to your computer's hard drive rather than capturing it to tape or to camera storage media, and then going through the capture and transfer process. Here is a cool little tutorial from Adobe about how to use Adobe Premiere to shoot video directly to your hard drive. If you don't have a good web cam or want to get better quality than you can get with a web cam, it makes sense to use your video camcorder to shoot simple talking head videos.
