Internalsoft has released My Internet eXperience Browser (MixBrowser)
v. 1.7, a powerful Windows application that makes it easy to capture
web pages, images, and Flash animations, and save them for offline
browsing. In addition to being a full-featured online web browser,
MixBrowser lets you easily build a personal knowledgebase and
picture library, and view them even when you're not connected to the
Internet.
Capturing and saving information is easy. You can create categories
and drag and drop information into any MixBrowser folder. Simply
grab the image or the tab of the web page that you want to save, and
drop it into the appropriate folder. You can even capture background
images and other media files that cannot be dragged with Alt+Left
click. The latest version of MixBrowser lets you set pagemarks to
mark positions on web pages.
MixBrowser makes it easy to retrieve your information. Simply click
any folder or sub-folder, and MixBrowser shows you a complete list
of the items that you've saved. Click a web page, and view it
offline in MixBrowser. It's fun to view your collection of images.
You can zoom in and zoom out. With a single click, you can step
through a folder full of saved pictures. A single click lets you
visit the web site where you originally found the image.
MixBrowser is a full-featured web browser that lets you move quickly
through your offline data, or browse the Internet. Using innovative
mouse gestures, you can quickly perform common operations by simply
holding down a mouse button and moving your mouse. The built-in
search engine integrates your Internet searches with your searches
of the information that you have stored in your offline personal
knowledgebase.
MixBrowser has safety features that make your Internet browsing
secure. You can block the installation of ActiveX invaders, disable
scripts from running on your computer, and eliminate annoying popup
messages.
