X-OOM Movies on PSP_ Now Available in North America
Marlboro, NJ, August 3, 2005 _ X-OOM Software, a leading publisher

their digital media, today announced that X-OOM Movies on PSP_ is
now generally available in the North America at www.x-oom.us and
other leading download sites, including www.download.com. It will
also begin appearing at major retailers, including EB Games and
others throughout August.
The Sony PSP® offers extensive digital entertainment options,
including games, music and movies, and now, using X-OOM Movies on
PSP, customers can further extend the value and enjoyment of their
device through the ability to watch their favorite movies and TV
shows while on a plane, in the car, or anywhere they want - in
excellent quality.
The new software removes conversion, compression and formatting
challenges, and makes playing recorded DVDs, DivX®_, WMV, AVI, MPEG
and many other digital video formats on the Sony PSP extremely easy.
A high-speed encoder integrated in X-OOM Movies on PSP automatically
re-sizes video files to fit the Sony PSP format and optimizes files
for the device's display.
Converted movies can be saved directly to a PC or to a Sony
Memory-Stick_ and can be transferred to the Sony PSP simply by
connecting the device to a PC through a standard USB cable (sold
separately). Proprietary X-OOM Fit-to-stick_ technology
automatically compresses video files to fit standard memory cards
(64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB) or custom sizes based on
users_ preference.
