NEWS FROM TRIGGERSTREET - THE MUCH ANTICIPATED THIRD SHORT FILM FESTIVAL SEASON HAS BEGUN!

Short Filmmakers and enthusiasts -- the moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived. The Third Season of the TriggerStreet.com Online Short Film Festival is now underway!

The Official Selection of 50 films for the First Festival has been determined with the help of your diligent reviewing and voting and these films and are now in competition. To recap how the festival works, the ratings given by Intermediate and Advanced Members to these 50 films during the festival will now determine the Top Ten Finalists. Those ten films will then go before the TRIGGER ACADEMY to determine which four are nominated to continue on to the end of season competition. Joining those four films will be another eight nominees yet to be selected from two forthcoming festivals that will take place later in the season. Stay tuned for our announcement of this season's Celebrity Judges, the illustrious panel that will ultimately decide which of the twelve Season 3 Overall Nominees will be selected as the season winner and recipient of the Budweiser Filmmaker Discovery Award.

So what are you waiting for? If you're an Intermediate or Advanced member you have fifty films to watch and rate! If you have a New User or Beginner User Rating, you now have more incentive to boost that rating so you can participate in this and future film festivals (see how in the site's FAQ's). And lastly, if you have a short film that isn't on TriggerStreet.com yet, take this opportunity to upload it (or for you procrastinators who haven't filmed it yet, consider this your kick in the pants to get out there and get that short made).
