StupidVideos.com Launches New Service:
SV eCards
StupidVideos.com
introduces free video ecards just in
time for the holidays
El
Segundo, CA, December 12, 2006 –
StupidVideos.com (www.stupidvideos.com),
the leading user-generated video site
for humorous stunts, bloopers, standup
comedy and everyday laughter, today
introduced a new service, called SV
eCards, through which
users can send their friends and family
free video egreetings that stream
popular StupidVideos clips, like this
one:
http://www.stupidvideos.com/cards/view.php?i=103.
The SV eCards service can be accessed through its new tab on the
StupidVideos.com homepage.
To send a SV eCard, users first select
from a menu of the most popular
StupidVideos holiday-themed clips and
complimentary background designs, then
input a personalized message along with
the email address(es) of the recipient(s).
Currently the StupidVideos greeting
cards are designed for the winter
holiday season, however, the website
will roll out more SV eCard designs for
other occasions, including
birthdays, Valentine's Day, St.
Patrick's Day and much more.
"As the first viral video website to
launch this type of service, we're
extremely excited and expect our users
will be, as well. StupidVideos has
an enormous library of quality, family
friendly clips perfectly suited for use
in ecards. Additionally, online
greetings are extremely viral and SV
eCards will likely introduce a whole new
audience to the StupidVideos brand and
website,” said Karina Kogan, General
Manager of StupidVideos.com and former
Director of Sales and Marketing at
popular online invitation site, Evite.
Eventually, users will be able to select
any video from the StupidVideos' library
and convert it into a SV eCard or,
create and share private video
egreetings as well.
