June 22, 2010 - AvTake is glad to announce that today, version 3 of its CutFour HD software for realtime live video mixing has been released.
CutFour HD is easy-to-use software that will mix up to four HD live video inputs through Black Magic Design PCIe capture cards. CutFour HD supports Decklink series and Intencity Pro with SDI, HDMI, component, Y/C and composite video I/Os. Additionally, CutFour HD has input channels for titles, images, a video player, and screen capture. CutFour HD enables the simultaneous preview of all live video input channels without external video monitors.
CutFour HD supports SD and HD resolutions up to 1920x1080. A fast Intel Core i7 processor based work station is required for HD. The mixed video can be output to AVI or MPEG-2 files, to any web video streaming software in the same desktop PC, or to video output.
For color correction, CutFour HD includes independent color correctors to all live video channels with color balance, brightness, contrast, and saturation controls. 2D transitions and picture in picture effects are included.
CutFour HD offers several ways to control mixing: Switching directly by clicking the preview image window, using a control panel, or using keyboard shortcuts.
