Lone RiderLone Rider This is brilliant, Short, cute and oh so very true And extremely well made. If you are a film maker, you got to spend a couple minutes with this flick. Sometimes a filmmaker's greatest challenge is simply raising cash. But financial woes won't deter this director.


 

MySpaceTV debuted the first interview between Director Wes Anderson and Actor Owen Wilson as part of the social networking site's popular original content series, Artist on Artist. The two friends are using MySpace as a platform to discuss a wide range of topics including their highly anticipated new film, The Darjeeling Limited.


 

This is quite interesting. What happens when you do a music mash-up between some of the world's most classic rock and roll tunes and a classic film like The Wizard of Oz? Check it out here  Video Mashup: Dark Side of Oz



 

Here are a couple of cool music videos to check out - you might not dig the music but you will probably like the video

The Knife's "Like A Pen" combines various animation techniques with a little live action to create a very interesting, very strange and slightly bizarre video experience.

Also, on the strange surrealistic side, is the latest music video from The Bird and the Bee "Again & Again". Without having to use extreme cutting or expensive effects, it takes you into their off-beat world.


 

Attention cinematographers and editors - ya got to see Push for Signal by Andrew S. Allen Barely over a minute in length, this is great. Do those crosswalk buttons actually work? Or do they merely exist to make us feel like we have some semblance of control on chaotic street corners? The guy in this artfully crafted film finds out real fast just how wild things can get at a busy crosswalk.


 

Habits of Mind, the third episode of Clock Tower Production's dramatic Internet serial "Windinggear", has been released. Homepage: www.windinggear.com. It combines some great editing, writing and story telling into an ongoing web story.

This is a series of very cool and occasionally artsy videos.  You won't find this kind of stuff on YouTube.
