This is great. This perfect greeting video is a rollicking animated musical with a cast of thousands - all sung to the Ghostbusters song. You'll love it. A little politics, a little social commentary - but all in all, a lots of fun.

You want to be weirded out? Cat With Hands, hosted at the Bokser Films site, is extremely well made and .... how to describe it .. very unnerving. Spooky and unforgetable. Simple in concept, it combines great cinematography with an excellent story and acting.

BackSeat Driver is very dark, spooky and scary little film about killer and his victim. Jack has a terrible secret to hide; a secret he shares with a young girl. Another spooky Halloween special - "Outdone" Hosted at AtomFilms, this 17 minute thriller will keep you on the edge of your office chair. Definitely worth checking out. When three students enter an old house they play games of deceit, trickery and double-cross all in the name of role-play. Of course, events take on an unexpected turn when police arrive to investigate the suspicious activity. If you really want to get freaked out, watch the Arsonist's Riddle by Ben West. This short 4 minute animation is extremely well made and will grab you without letting go. Don't get burned...


Just right for the family for Halloween and suitable for all ages. Pumpkin Man. This half hour program is about 13-year-old Jason who, because of his parents' recent divorce is too blue to celebrate Halloween. His mood cheers, however, when a magical pumpkin rolls into his life. That evening, the mysterious squash prods Jason to ring the doorbell of creepy Mr. Hain, who has frightened trick-or-treaters for years. Perhaps Mr. Hain isn't as mean as his reputation.


Halloween is coming ... scary goblins and ghouls and of course, spooky short films. Check out these three short subjects from www.alldaybreakfast.ca. What are these Canadians drinking? Peaches & Cream is the story of how a woman's checkered past catches up to her in the form of a vindictive bowl of peaches and cream. Spooky - yet tasty. 


Who better to welcome Halloween than the Simpsons. Check out this short clip from the classic episode where no beer and no TV make Homer go all Jack Nicholson in this hilarious parody of The Shining. This is considered one of the best Simpson's episodes of all time. When you are done, take a moment to visit the iFilm Halloween showcase. Short and weird. The Phone Call is hosted at Wes Craven's site for horror and scary short films, Urban Chillers. You may never want to answer the phone again...


According to Randy, trick-or-treating is for suckers.  His quest to uncover the truth puts a damper on his pals' Halloween fun. But they discover a crusty old salt who gains Randy's admiration. Check out Shawks: Halloween Special.


You like the Crocodile Hunter? Imagine if those crazy Australians game up with a spin-off, the Poltergeist Hunter  The fake Steve Irwin and his wife are searching for spooks in Melbourne.  

This last flick isn't very spooky but it is funny. Take a visit to Mistress Coco and see if she can predict what is in your future...


Just in time for Halloween, Mise-En-Chien Productions new flick is making its premiere appearance. Check out The Secret of Zombie Mountain"  Created by Craig Macnaughton and Chris McCawley, this parody of horror flicks is played straight, not for laughs. No fancy editing or effects, just good solid acting and storytelling. "Look it's a 700 foot tall zombie!".  We also love the silicon-carbon love story sub-plot as well as the coining of a new phrase - the hambie - half human, half zombie. Check this out. Kids can watch this as well!
