These
films, special projects, and animations all
exemplify new types of story telling; some
are interactive; a some are in 3D or 360

Some just can't be described. Check
them out and experience something just a
little bit different and new.
One of the coolest and most thought provoking concepts for Internet videos is mashups - combining two or more different videos, soundtracks, music videos, slide shows, or whatever - to create a totally unique and new creative piece. This is truly bizarre but it really works. One of the last decade's strangest films meets the classic kid story - , Requiem for a Dream meets Toy Story 2. Here's a not as strange Requiem parody - hosted at YouTube -
A parody of "Requiem for a Dream" involving a massive addiction to Krispy Kreme Donuts....
This is
incredible. This is the Grand Prize Winner for

INCREDIBLE!!!
A machine with a doll face mimics images on television screen in search of a
satisfactory visage. Doll Face presents a visual account of desires
misplaced and identities fractured by our technological extension into the
future.
Time to get mellow. Nicely done and just
the thing to end your day with... or to escape with during lunch.

Chicago. Produced by John LeGear at timcomm.com
You may have heard of speed racing and speed dating - now there is Bruce Lee Speed Painting. This guy creates a wall sized mural of Bruce Lee using only his hands and karate chop motions. Instant art with a martial arts flourish. But is it art?

interesting and provocative film submitted
by the guys at

Field Theory is very well shot, edited
and created but I am not sure what it is all
about but it will make you think. It
combines urban angst, young man philosophy
with a bit of violence and New York
attitude. It's a bit long but it deserves to
be checked out.
Let's Get Medical

extremely weird and moody short 3 minute
film by Jon Tojek. Shot on 35 film, it is

This film is extremely dreamy, strange and
odd. We can't figure it out but it sure made
our day. Let's go do some surgery.
"White

short that demonstrates that almost anybody
has their price. What would you do for
money?
"Virus" by Simon Hynd is really scary
and spooky - especially if you are into
computers, Internet videos and murder. Great
concept - wonderful production - this is the
kind of virus even Norton and McAfee can't
deal with.

A
few years ago Steve Hawman lost his leg in
an industrial combustion accident, leaving
him broke & unemployed. Having no
insurance, he fabricated his own
artificial leg using PVC pipe and a
lemonade pitcher. ( We don't make
this stuff up) A local prosthetics clinic
got him back on his feet so to speak and
Steve started working building gates and
metal sculptures for wealthy beach
residents. Now the artist is
building a car from scratch inspired by a
1920's Locomobile cabriolet gunboat
roadster which will be awarded as a gift
to the owner of the prosthetics
clinic who helped him. Built on a 1988
Lincoln Town car frame that has been
extended and widened this is one serious
hotrod. Most would never undertake a
project of this scale much less commit to
accomplishing it in 100 days. See http://www.MotorMoods.com
for more details. IVM will be bringing you
exclusive video of the completed rolling
sculpture, but in the meantime check this

15:00. It is not really a movie,
it is not really a cartoon - it is an
inter-active Kafka-esque simulation of life
within a capitalist culture.
The project is dedicated to employee
number 12995 and to his frustrations and
angst. Meyer analyzes, with irony, the human
being's role in a world dominated by
corporations and the New Economy. The user
is invited to participate in the daily
routine of a faceless employee and to
interact with the endless meetings, paper
pushing, form filing, homogeneity,
subversion, and anxiety that are typical in
the corporate work world. Have fun but don't
get strange.

Squarepusher's
Come On My Selector may be the
weirdest music video ever. If you like
the strange and bizarre, you got to see
Chris Cunningham's award-winning Come
On My Selector for Tom Jenkinson,

7-minute epic, and was filmed in a closed
ward and the basement corridors at Northwick

exceptionally well produced, shot and
edited.
