Combine an old joke with a parody of the MasterCard commercial and you get the hugely entertaining short "Indecent Proposal" 

 Combine poetry, a little beer, some violence and psychological torture, with a hint of lesbianism, and you get James Mirarchi's 12 minute film, "Beer and Art". Great acting, great dialog. Check it out at www.undergroundfilm.com 

This is great example of a team using the web to promote a film. Checkout IronyInAction's "Stag", a  short 8 minute video in which an elderly woman reminisces about her youthful days as a porn star in stag films. Oddly funny and a bit dark,  you may never look at a senior citizen in the same way again. Adult themes and language.

Saving Ryan's Privates - This is probably one of the best produced 8 minute videos we have featured on the site.  Captain John Miller and his platoon are sent on a mission behind enemy lines to save Private James Ryan. That's where the similarities between this $6,500 CreamWorks production and Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks blockbuster end.  Yes, you can figure out the joke in a few seconds but the film builds on the humor, and gets better and better. Definitely worth checking out.  

This 11 minute short film is definitely a bit weird and odd. Wasps - from the British Film Institute. Extremely well produced and acted. This sharply scripted, grotesque social satire explores the moral dilemma facing a wasp exterminator whose sympathies come to lie more with his intended victims than with his paymasters. 

Sometimes things are not quite as they appear. All Amateur Ecstasy is great little film by Greg Pak. Hosted on AtomFilms,com, it is the story of three women who seem to be experiencing the most earth-shattering climaxes of their lives. Grab a tissue because satisfaction is only a click away. While you are there, also check out another Greg Pak film, Asian Pride Porn. It combines racial, class and sexuality politics with overtones of  anti-marketing insidiousness. I don't know what it all means, but this is a funny little video. Not for young kids.... 

Here is a cool Osama Bin Laden movie from the infamous Joe Cartoon - OK, so maybe technically it is not a real movie, but sort of a cartoon game but it is still a blast. Watch Osama Sissyfight. About six minutes long, Tokyo Breakfast is a fake pilot for a fake TV show featuring fake Japanese actors speaking fake Japanese with a fake sitcom audience and fake laugh-track. If you are sensitive regarding racial themes and cuss words, don't watch this!!!  This was submitted by a visitor to the site and I don't know where it came from or who produced it.
