is a community dedicated to the art of stop motion animation. Their
main focus is the animation of plastic building toys, or bricks (LEGO,
Mega Bloks, Best-Lock etc), which they call "brickfilms"
(these films are also commonly called "LEGO Movies"). They
also feature other types of animation, including 3D and Flash. On this
site you will find a searchable directory of hundreds of films,
contests, a busy forum, and great resources to help animators of any
level in the creation of their movies.
AARP The Magazine's web site has a
feature called the "DocYOUmentary
Maker" that is pretty cool. DocYOUmentary Maker enables you to
be the director of your own life story. By choosing, editing, and
narrating video clips of various landmark news events, you can create a
personalized film and email it to everyone you know. It has everything
from the landing of the first man on the moon to the cloning of the
first animal.
Do you want to see animals? We got
animals...check out the video pages at the San
Diego Zoo - in addition to various new spotlighted videos, the video
archive has a great collection. Also, check out the Panda Cam and the
Polar Bear Cam. There's even a special page dedicated to videos
of baby animals. Who'd believe that baby Warty Hogs could be so
cute?. And as you would expect, there is a whole section of

of the Pacific. An important component of the program is using Apple
technology to provide live and archived video for student investigations
in Biology and Environmental Systems. The Apple Learning Interchange is
providing the distribution network making it possible for thousands of
student connections per week.

Goosehead
- a web site by teenagers and for
teenagers (with a little help from corporations like NBC, MGM and
Richard Dreyfuss.
Youthquake
- a streaming TV show for
teenagers. It airs live on Tuesdays at 7:30 central. However, there are
are over 35 past shows archived on the web site. It is available in both
video and audio streams. The show covers a variety of youth centered
topics like music and snow boarding , but, it also covers more serious
items such as skin cancer.

Here
