Attention filmmakers and film watchers! You can find some great flicks at TriggerStreet.  TriggerStreet.com was founded in January 2002 as the web-based filmmaker and screenwriter's community of record - an interactive mechanism for the purpose of discovering and showcasing new and unique talent. Based on the principles of creative excellence, it provides industry access and exposure to help build the careers of notable new filmmakers and screenwriters of our day.

Our mission is to encourage the creative process of filmmaking and screenwriting by providing hands on, peer-to-peer, objective criticism and letting the material be judged on its own merit. We offer an engaging avenue of exploration for both first time and veteran film directors, writers, and enthusiasts, anyone at all, who is attempting to bring his or her vision to the screen.

Based in Australia, Nice Shorts is a new short film website that hosts award-winning short films from all over the world. Their goal is to provide up-and-coming filmmakers a free and non-exclusive venue for getting their work out there. As they are filmmakers themselves, they believe in the use of the internet as the newest and (possibly) most effective tool for getting films seen by a worldwide audience.

They are currently non-profit and are relying on word of mouth to help the site grow. They are looking for new films for the site and are currently spotlighting short films from all over the world, including The Philippines, Australia, Mexico, Denmark, the US and the UK.

Did you see "Keeping up with the Steins"? Are you Jewish? If you know and understand Jewish culture, you love this site - Jewish Impact Films. Packed with a great collection of original short films - they are slickly made, funny, and imbued with lots of Jewish in jokes.

Based in Los Angeles, the Jewish Impact Films Fellowship recently completed its first three week program, generating over fifty unique projects. Click here to learn about how to apply to our next fellowship

We love sites that moviemakers create to promote their films. It doesn't really matter how cheesy or low budget the flick, - the point is the creative and artistic use of the web to gather eyeballs and provide momentum So with that in mind, we present "I was a Teenage Lobotomy" According the film makers, " Lionstone Productions presents the most exciting internet serial ever made! Based on a shocking true story,
you will laugh, you will cry, you will keep the lights on when you go to bed. Thirty years in the making, featuring a cast of thousands and a budget of over $1,000,000,000 (really, it's true, I swear). No stone was left unturned in Lionstone's effort create the most realistic cinematic experience known to humanity. Told in seven chapters, each more thrilling than the last." Are you funny? Do you have great ideas and think you could be an Internet Star? Go for it. Shoot your films, edit them together, and then post them on a web site that features you and your creations. You don't need a big budget just big creativity. Check out http://www.hollywoodscreams.com.  Webmaster and  producer Tom Willett has created a nice assortment of small films. If he can do it, you can do it as well. You might especially like "Hollywood Screams" a comedy/mockumentary about a young actor trying to make it in Hollywood. It's a little long, a little slow in places, but has some great dialog.

Looking for a slightly weird web site? Check out Rob Pongi and his Japan site. This is the original video blog. Don't worry, its in English - or mostly. Here has recently posted these two videos.

"The Genius Kids #8" video from North Korea features some more of the extremely talented group of North Korean children known as "The Genius Kids" in a short performance along with an expert analysis as seen on North Korean and Japanese TV. Used by legal permission. This video is somewhat "shocking", however, in this episode, we finally learn what "The Genius Kids" really signify and how they are so terribly used by Kim Jong Il to brainwash North Korean children on North Korean Television.

And on a somewhat lighter and more humorous side

"A Picture Perfect Day" - Some behind the scenes views of A Picture Perfect Day in Yoyogi Park! A team of professional photographers from Paris, France visited Japan in April 2005 and took many pictures of Rob Pongi in Yoyogi Park and others all over Japan.

This site is GREAT. Goodie Bag TV is an incredibly wonderful collection of short films - most of which are artfully written, directed and produced by Kirby Ferguson. A few are a bit edgy and may earn a slight "kid be aware notice" (ie "Do You Take It - a song by the Wet Spots) but in general, the acting is superb and you will bust out laughing. Strongly recommended!!!

oadband channel featuring the most hilarious and outrageous video karaoke parodies.

Check out this cool site - CamKaroke.com. Its like a karoke take-off on the www.milliondollarhomepage.com site, According to its creator, Fred Marshall, in October of 2005 he uploaded all of my CamKaraoke videos I made in 2003 (over 50 videos) to Google videos, iFilm.com, Sharkle.com and YouTube.com. By the end of the year his CamKaraoke videos were viewed more than one million times, and he received thousands of emails, instant messages and comments on my MySpace & Yahoo pages. Viewers were creating fan clubs and the press was calling him. It was then that he knew he had to build a website.

Marshall says, "My goal was to construct a website that would showcase the most hysterical CamKaraoke videos and advertisers equally. When I read about the success advertisers were having on the www.milliondollarhomepage.com, created by Alex Tew of Wiltshire, England (whom I must give a lot of credit), it hit me like a ton of bricks. When you hear the word karaoke, most people picture a person singing at a bar in front of a brick wall entertaining an enthusiastic audience. When I looked at the milliondollarhomepage.com for the first time, it looked like graffiti on a brick wall.   Combining these two ideas, I believe I created CamKaraoke.com to achieve a high level of success for our advertisers without compromising our viewer's experience. "

Do you think you and your buddies are funny and clever and can make people laugh? Pick up that camcorder, edit together a few funny short films and then stick them on a web site for the world to enjoy. Check out Kleineco.com. Based in Horicon, Wisconsin, these young guys are making a bunch of movies that show off their comedic talents. Brandon says, "We just wanted to make people laugh until they pass out or die. Well maybe not die." The humor is uneven, some skits are not all that funny; the editing and camerawork is basic, and these guys obviously never went to acting school. However, they are having fun and a couple of the skits are OK. My favorite is "Midwest Mob". If these guys can this, so can you. FYI. They just updated the site with over 18 new videos.
