muvee Technologies,
has just announced the latest version of
their award-winning muvee autoProducer software.
We have been working with muvee since their
first version of their software came out
years ago and have continually recommended
the muvee software as the best and easiest
to use of all the automatic video editing
packages.
Automatic
video editing programs take most of the work
out of creating short videos and movies from
your digital video footage. Simply connect
your DV camcorder to your DV computer (iLink,
FireWire or 1394), and capture the video and
audio to your hard drive. You then let the
automatic editing software search through
the footage to find the best clips. After
picking the a movie style and background
music, the push go and the automatic video
editing software goes through the footage,
picks out the most appropriate shots
(featuring faces and action), and then edits
them to the music, complete with special
effects and titles if you want.
If you
don't like the result, the software can
re-edit the video movie over and over again.
Even though I am a professional editor, I
like how I can quickly turnaround a home or
event video within hours of shooting it. muvee
supports a variety of video formats - DV, AVI and WMV for e-mail or Web-streaming.
muvee autoProducer 3 also can output the
final productions as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2
files.
The newest
version, muvee autoProducer 3, has added a
bunch of very cool new features including support for
still images, new plug-in styles and improved integration with DVD authoring
packages.
By using the new muvee autoProducer 3, you
can now blend digital pictures (JPG/JPEG, GIF
and BMP) with your video footage. In
addition, they have introduced the so-called
"Ken Burns" effect - letting you new
pan and zoom across the still
images.
Another
improvements include direct launching of popular DVD authoring applications, support for Windows MediaR
audio files (WMA), and greater user control over the
order and pattern of the video clips in the
final auto edit. The new release also supports
plug-in styles that users can purchase and download to augment the set of 24
built-in styles that come with the software.
How does it
work?
muvee autoProducer's user-friendly, 6-button interface is
based upon a patent-pending technology that intelligently analyzes and detects key scenes
from video footage, before automatically cutting and synchronizing these
highlights to the rhythm of the chosen music, complete with personalized
credits, effects and transitions.
In minutes, a final, polished video
production, your "muvee", is ready to be saved and shared in a number
of popular formats, including DV, AVI and WMV for e-mail or Web-streaming.
muvee autoProducer 3 also outputs productions as MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 files,
which can subsequently be used to create VCDs, SVCDs or DVDs using any
suitable third-party CD-burning or DVD-authoring program.
Pricing and Availability:
muvee autoProducer 3 is priced at US$49.95 and is now available for download
from muvee in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Current
users of earlier licensed versions of muvee autoProducer may upgrade to
version 3 from US$19.95.
