Automatic video editing programs take most of the work out of creating short videos and movies from your digital video footage. Simply connect your DV camcorder to your DV computer (iLink, FireWire or 1394), and capture the video and audio to your hard drive. You then let the automatic editing software search through the footage to find the best clips.
