The included Impact 6' Black Light Stand is one of the most economical light stands available. It extends to a maximum height of 6', and has a 5/8" stud top with a 1/4"-20 thread.
The wooden handle on the bulb socket makes it safer to adjust the lights without having to wait for the bulbs to cool off.
This is a low cost unit - perfect for occasional and hobbyist use. It does not offer the reliability and sturdiness of professional lighting kits - but then again, the Impact One kit costs a whole lot less. I also would recommending lugging this kit from location to location.
However, for those who don't need pro gear, this is a great way to get started for indoor lighting for both video and still images. at just 74.95 each , it makes sense to get two lighting kits of them to make your lighting look sharp. I'd also invest in some extra bulbs - both 500 watt and 250 watt.
You will probably need to get some sand bags to keep the unit steady as well as thick extension cords.
